Tips To Keep Your Kids Warm
Tips For Keeping Our Kids Warm This Winter
- Bring their hat, gloves, scarf, and winter jacket, even if they never need it.
- Bring a thermos with hot broth or hot chocolate. Life saver. Seriously.
- Take a break at a coffee shop to warm up with a hot drink.
- Shoes. Time for the warm and fuzzy shoes. No more sneakers.
- Bring snacks. A hungry kid is a nightmare. Am I right?
Time To Bundle Up
There’s nothing that ruins a fun winter day out than a whiny cold hungry child. It can ruin the entire day or even the weekend.
The leaves have fallen and the Christmas lights have been turned on in Zürich. So that means it’s time to bundle up our kids. Dig out those boxes of winter gear from the storage room and get ready for another cold winter season. The best way for us to have a wonderful time this winter season is by keeping the kids warm and well fed. There’s nothing worse than cold hungry kids. And when the kids are happy, we are all happy.
The Brand Swiss Moms Buy
When Reima asked us to be brand ambassadors for this season we were super excited. Our kids have been wearing Reima gear since we moved to Switzerland years ago. I remember asking my Swiss friend what winter jackets she buys her girls. She said all Swiss moms buy Reima. So, of course, the next day our family went into Jelmoli (there are loads of shops in Zürich and online that sell Reima, but Jelmoli happened to be having their once a year 15% off day) to take our first look at their jackets for the upcoming ski season. The girls chose matching blue ski jackets that my middle daughter is still wearing every day. These jackets have lasted for years. The girls also wear Reima swimsuits and rash guards. And our baby has been living in their super thin and soft wool thermals.
From The City
To The Mountains
The girls wear their jackets to school and around Zürich, but the ski jackets, ski pants, gloves, hats, and scarves also keep them warm on the mountains. Here we are last ski season in Arosa and a year before in Austria.
Thanks to Reima for sponsoring this post and giving the kids great clothes to wear from autumn through winter this year. The kids got to pick out their gear. They are lucky enough to be brand ambassadors for Reima. From hats and gloves to ski jackets and ski pants, Reima has graciously given them the gear to keep them warm from Zürich to the slopes. I would highly recommend Reima to anyone looking for gear from wool thermals to ski gear. The fit is roomy, it lasts forever, and the kids wear it every single day.
