Sushi Tram in Zurich
For our 11th wedding anniversary, we went on the Zürich Sushi Tram. It was so much fun. It’s like a ride at Disneyland that I can do over and over again. It’s official. I am obsessed with the theme trams in Zürich. The sushi was from the famed Zürich chef of Metropol. Each time, we sit in the tiniest old-fashioned little tram where there is far too little room to eat on a very tiny table. And it’s so much fun. It’s a nice quiet ride looping around Zürich many times. There are no distractions and it goes very slowly so I get a really good look at the city. Did I mention I booked a babysitter? The sushi tram began with three little starter bowls of mixed salads. Then we got a plate of sushi. Then intermission, which was a bit funny. So we hopped out, had a good stretch, took some pictures, and drank from a fountain to cool off.
Back on the tram we had wine, sake, and dessert. The tram ran from 6pm-8pm. I love seeing the city at night by these little old-fashioned trams. Purchase tickets online, Bellevue Tram Station, or Zurich HB station. The cost per person is 85chf, the most expensive theme tram we have been on. In November the fondue tram begins and that baby is 95chf per person! Hot cheese in a moving vehicle. The price includes the danger.
I absolutely love these little theme trams in Zürich. And I do love sushi. Maybe I need to start a search for the best sushi in Zürich. Right?
