Springding- The best rainy day activity
With all the rain in Zürich this week and a day off school, I was wondering where to go indoors with my girls. My girlfriend suggested we go to Springding. I had never heard of it (gasp) and was keen to try it out.
We drove 40 minutes to Springding this morning. It is a large space full of trampolines, slides, and climbing for kids. They are open every day from 10am-6pm. The price of admission is 15chf per child (age 2-14), including a token for the motorized vehicles. The price of adult (over 14 years old) admission is 5chf including a free drink token. There is childcare from 4 years old for 5chf. This is also a great venue for birthday parties.
Springding is located 40 minutes drive or 1 hour train from Zürich HB. There is free WiFi and a café (pizza, crepes, hot dogs, coffee, fruit and yogurt) to sit and relax while the kids run around. Our girls are so sweaty and we have only been here an hour.Tip: They only take cash, so come fully stocked with 15chf per child, 5chf per adult, plus money for food and extra drinks. Also, they have very child friendly bathrooms with plenty of small child sized pottys, sinks, and changing tables.
Have you been to Springding? Where do you go near Zürich when it rains?
