Apero Tram in Zurich
I love the little old-fashioned theme trams that make their way down the Bahnhofstrasse in Zürich. Whenever I see them I wonder when we can book another one. So far we have done the trifecta of theme trams in Zürich; Marlitram, Honold Chocolate Tram, and last week the Apero Tram.My husband’s 40th birthday was a great excuse to book the Apero Tram for our little family of four. We boarded the tram at 6pm. The tram runs a little over an hour and makes several loops through Zürich’s most famous and scenic spots. The Apero Tram runs every Thursday at 6pm and 7:30pm and you can purchase tickets at the Bellevue Tram Station. The tram is very small so tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Tickets are 35chf per person and include a drink and several courses of Italian Antipasti and bread. The best way to see Zürich, especially with visitors and for special occasions, is by old-fashioned theme tram. The Sushi Tram starts in August and I think I’ll go get my tickets this week! Honold Chocolate Tram was the very last week of October in 2015. The Fondue Tram follows in November which I can’t wait to try. I can’t imagine this tiny old tram with steamy fondue windows. I love these fun and memorable times we are having here in Zürich.
Have you tried a Zürich theme tram?
